Our Founder
Chef Melanie Curtis Woods founded Gene Catering & Desserts. Starting her career in 2001, she is a six-time culinary arts scholarship recipient. Since our inception in 2014, she has discovered different ways to cater to many dietary needs. Some of the culinary she has self-taught and some learned from the culinary industry.
